Oglethorpe, Inc is a company that owns about a dozen mental hospitals and rehab facilities. By law these facilities must have a website, though many of them receive the majority of their patients through referrals, so throughout the years their websites had fallen neglected.
After redesigning the website for the Darryl Strawberry Center, I then was put to the task.
I had a very tight deadline, all of these sites had to be updated in a matter of weeks. Also, they needed to be maintained easily, as there really wasn’t anyone to manage them, and likely that role would go to one person who would be doing a multitude of other projects.
I decided to go with WordPress Multi-site so that all websites could be updated from the same backend. I also used the same custom theme I created for the Strawberry Center website and added the ability for a user to customize the colors, logo, social links and more through the WordPress admin.
